On October 7th, 2025, partners from all seven institutions of the AquaLoop project consortium met in Ålborg, Denmark, for the fifth onsite project partner meeting. Some participants also joined online, ensuring full representation and engagement across the consortium. We are also grateful to the Advisory Board members who attended the meeting and shared valuable recommendations to support the project’s continued progress and impact.
The meeting took place in the beautiful concert hall of Ålborg, providing an inspiring setting in this vibrant and picturesque city. Discussions focused on reviewing the administrative and financial progress and assessing the achievements and outcomes within the PilotLoops, TrainingLoop, and SupportLoop work packages. Within PilotLoops, partners shared updates on all three pilot activities, highlighting significant progress and lessons learned from their implementation. Updates on the TrainingLoop activities were also presented, including reflections on achievements and discussions on future perspectives, while the SupportLoop progress and next steps were likewise reviewed and discussed.
A major part of the discussion was dedicated to preparations for the project’s final conference, which will take place in Bremerhaven on 25–26 February 2026. Please stay tuned for more information about the conference!
