The NordicRAS Workshop 2025, held on 8–9 October 2025 in Aalborg, Denmark successfully brought together fish farmers, managers, technology and service providers, engineers, researchers, and other professionals with a shared interest in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).
Our AquaLoop partner – Gårdsfisk (Sweden) presented “Catfish – A new animal in Swedish barns”, where company CEO and manager shared the company’s innovative approach to integrating catfish farming into traditional agriculture through sustainable, circular water and nutrient systems.
Over two inspiring days over 200 participants discussed and presented the latest knowledge, innovations, and developments shaping the future of RAS. The workshop served as a valuable forum for exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration within the aquaculture community.
