K2 Trout Farm – hosting Klaipeda University and University of Gdańsk students group

Once again, we could count on the hospitality of K2 Trout Farm, which already at the beginning of January 2025 hosted the first group of students from the University of Rostock participating in the AquaLoop cross-border student exchange program. More on that visit together with general information on the K2 Trout Farm operation can be found here.

This time, on the 29th of January 2025 our guest students from the Klaipeda University together with a group of students from the University of Gdańsk had a chance to visit a large-scale recirculating aquaculture facility in Poland. This experience offered them a unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of rainbow trout RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) and the complexities of contemporary aquaculture practices.

We are grateful to K2 Trout Farm for another visit possibility, cooperation and inspiration for our visiting students. Visit to K2 Trout Farm was part of the AquaLoop cross-border student exchange program.
