AquaLoop participated in the EUSBSR Annual Forum 2026, held on 11–13 May 2026 at Kultuurikatel in Tallinn, Estonia. The Forum brought together policymakers, researchers, regional organisations, and civil society representatives from across the Baltic Sea Region to discuss resilience, sustainability, and regional cooperation.
Under the theme “Resilience Edition”, this year’s Forum focused on interconnected challenges including climate change, environmental protection, regional security, and sustainable development. AquaLoop’s activities in the areas of circular aquaculture and sustainable nutrient management strongly align with these priorities by promoting innovative solutions that support resource efficiency, environmental resilience, and the transition towards a greener and more sustainable blue economy.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen international cooperation, and connect with stakeholders working towards a sustainable future for the Baltic Sea Region.
More information about the Forum is available on the official EUSBSR Annual Forum website.
