On the 16 – 18 of October Polish AquaLoop partners took part in the XLIX Trout Breeders Conference & Aquaculture Technology Fair, organized by the project associated partner – Polish Trout Breeders Association.
The event gathered aquaculture professionals, researchers, business, NGOs and students. We are very happy that not only AquaLoop project was presented at the conference, and Polish partners were present, but also bachelor students of the Aquaculture Business and Technology program from the University of Gdańsk participated in the event.
The program was planned so that during lectures, joint talks and discussions all the key problems of trout aquaculture was touched. The sessions included presentations and panel discussions on good practices in aquaculture sector, production and market, funding, legal issues, water law, market, communication and PR, certification and labeling programs, veterinary and health issues, as well as new solutions and innovations.
Traditionally, the event was accompanied by the Aquaculture Technology Fair. The fair is a meeting space for aquaculture professionals with industry companies offering solutions for aquaculture, providing an opportunity for networking and new colaboration.
