Last week, Gårdsfisk had the pleasure of hosting the second study visit of the EU Aqualoop project at one of the company’s grow-out farms. The visit brought together international partners and stakeholders to explore key aspects of the operations.
The focus of the meeting was on the Gårdsfisk concept, with discussions centered around:
- Sustainable land-based aquaculture
- Legislative and regulatory challenges
- Market potential and consumer perspectives
The organizers were especially pleased to welcome participants primarily from Denmark, our neighbor and partner country in the Aqualoop project. Their presence brought valuable cross-border perspectives and helped foster regional dialogue on sustainable aquaculture development.
It was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and highlight how Gårdsfisk integrates innovation and responsibility into every step of the value chain.
Based on a study visit to Gårdsfisk the Danish participants generally assessed that land-based fish farming using Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), and their conclusions can be found in the Perspectives on Establishing Farm-RAS fish production in Denmark inspired by Gårdsfisk report prepared by Guldborgsund Municipality.
Thank you All for participation!
