3nd AquaLoop partner meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark

Partners from all seven institutions of the AquaLoop – Aquaculture forum towards the development of circular economy practices, INTERREG South Baltic project consortium met on the 27th of August 2024 in Copenhagne, for the third onsite partner meeting.

The meeting was focused on the update on project management and communication, as well as the progress regarding recent activities within work packages: PilotLoops, TrainingLoop, and SupportLoop. Coordinators of individual pilots presented the progress in individual experiments, which are the basis for our training and support activities, whereas work package leaders presented their approach towards those activities. Further on planned upcoming cooperation with the focus on the pilots, training programs and support offer development were discussed.

Not only was it a great meeting of all project partners, but also the first meeting with the AquaLoop Advisory Board members: Ms. Loreta Bražinskaitė from Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Policy Section of Fisheries Department, Lithuania, Mrs. Annette Løttrup-Moore, Business Developer, from Business Lolland-Falster, Denmark, Mr. Bartosz Blum, Owner and managing director of the company Aquamedic Poland, and Mr. Tobias Fitzel, Project manager at ttz (technolopgy transfer center) Bremerhaven, Germany. We are extremely happy that experts from such diverse fields related to aquaculture, representing both business and governmental institutions, have expressed their willingness to support our project. We are looking forward for great cooperation!
