The AquaLoop project was presented at the \u201cFuture of Aquaculture\u201d conference (16-18 June 2026, Ostroda, Poland), which brought together 150 stakeholders from the fisheries and aquaculture sector, research institutions, and public administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event provided an excellent platform to disseminate the project\u2019s achievements and highlight innovative solutions that support the transition towards a more circular and sustainable aquaculture sector. Discussions throughout the conference emphasized the growing importance of sustainable resource management, the valorisation of by-products and waste streams, the adoption of innovative farming practices, and stronger collaboration between researchers and producers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By addressing these challenges, AquaLoop contributes to the practical implementation of blue and green economy principles in the South Baltic region, fostering more resource-efficient and environmentally responsible aquaculture systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
