{"id":2439,"date":"2025-05-15T12:28:38","date_gmt":"2025-05-15T12:28:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aqualoop.edu.pl\/?p=2439"},"modified":"2025-05-15T13:02:14","modified_gmt":"2025-05-15T13:02:14","slug":"bluemissionbanos-arena-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aqualoop.edu.pl\/?p=2439","title":{"rendered":"AquaLoop at the BlueMissionBANOS Arena 4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fourth <strong>Mission Arena<\/strong> took place from 28 to 30 April 2025 in the seaside city of Sopot, Poland, held in conjunction with the <strong>Blue Economy Baltic Forum<\/strong> and under the auspices of the <strong>Polish EU Council Presidency<\/strong>. Building on the momentum of the previous three Arenas, this edition brought together participants from across Europe to focus on the Baltic region\u2014including Poland, Eastern Germany, Denmark, and Southeastern Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the event, the <strong>AquaLoop project<\/strong> stood out as a key contributor to discussions shaping the future of sustainable blue growth. During the <em><strong>Blue Foods Workshop<\/strong><\/em>, organized by TETRAS BSR, AquaLoop partners\u2014the <strong>Fish Market Development Association and the University of Gda\u0144sk<\/strong>\u2014presented insights into seafood consumer preferences and introduced the potential of whiteleg shrimp farming in Poland. These findings, drawn from the AquaLoop Interreg South Baltic project, point toward a transformative path for European aquaculture, offering innovative and environmentally sound solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AquaLoop was also featured in the educational workshop <em><strong>Shaping Future Blue Leaders<\/strong><\/em>, co-hosted by Cool Blue Future and the Blue Bio Techpreneurs project. Here, educators and researchers from the University of Gda\u0144sk highlighted how fisheries diversification, regenerative ocean farming, and progressive educational strategies are redefining the blue economy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the course of one and a half days, AquaLoop representatives together with <strong>over 300 participants<\/strong> delved into the region\u2019s most pressing maritime challenges, from port development and maritime security to sustainable food systems and the protection of marine ecosystems.
